THEODOROS G. GEORGOPOULOS

Born in Athens in 1975.

Studies: Graduated from Athens Law School in 1997. Postgraduate studies in International Law (Athens, 1998) and European Law (Aix-en-Provence, 1999).
PhD in European and Comparative Law (Aix-en-Provence, 2003). Postdoctoral studies in International and European Tax Law (New York, 2006).

Associate Professor (Maitre de conferences) in Reims Law School since 2004, he also teaches European Tax Law in Aix-en-Provence and EC Law at the Bucharest Law School and at the European Institute of Public Administration (Brussels).

Internship in D. Zorbas' law office. He joined the Athens Bar Association in 2001, specializing in the field of European, International and Tax Law. Internship in the European Court of Justice (2001).

Writing activity: He is the author of three monographs and several articles in English, French and Greek focusing on the enforcement of European and International Law in the national legal order (with emphasis to the Greek, French and German Law) and on questions of substantive EC Law.
